Palo santo Beewax candle
Beautiful handmade candles for your sacred space, altar or living room. The beewax has been scented with the oil of the Bursera graveolens (Palo santo).
These beewax candles are made by members of a cooperation from a small village in the coastal area of Ecuador. Many family members participate in making this beautiful product. The oldest sister does the sales, the brother makes the boxes and the neighbour brings them with his car to Mindo, a day ride for them.
The Palo Santo Beewax candles are available as two types.
- Solid; these candles are made in the traditional way by dippng the wicks in melted beewax. Each candle is approximately 21 cm long and weighs around 80 gram. The burning time is much longer than of the honeycomb candles. The candles are sold per two.
- Honeycomb; these beautiful candels are less heavy that the solid ones. They are made by spreading wax over a mould. When the wax is nearly cold and still a bit flexible it is rolled around a wick to make it into a candle. The candles are sold per two.
Each candle is approximately 20 cm long and weighs around 40 gram.
These are available as half ones too, these are sold per three.
Only natural materials are used.
