As Waking Herbs we are very happy to work with this wonderful artist. We share a dream and inspiration from the great wisdom of our indigenous family and their sacred medicines.

Jeissson Castillo is a Colombian visual artist and researcher who has immersed in the ancestral wisdom of peasant and indigenous communities in Colombia.
During the past years Jeisson has travelled extensively through the Colombian Amazon working hand in hand with indigenous peoples that persevere in the safeguarding of their traditions and territories.

His art combines painting, performance, video, magic and anthropological research to endow his images with spirit.

The notebooks are part of a joint effort to return this images to the places and peoples that have inspired him. For each piece you buy we’ll deliver one to a community in the rainforest or the Andes.
