World Ayahuasca Conference 2019
AYA2019 a coming together of our global community
May 31 – June 2 | Girona, Spain
Laura and Philip would like to meet you in person on this gathering. We hope to see you there!
ICEERS’s iconic World Ayahuasca Conference is just around the corner! This gathering will bring together an incredible lineup of indigenous leaders, scientists, policy makers, thought leaders, activists, visionary artists, filmmakers, musicians, and other luminaries of the international plant medicine community. AYA2019 will be hosted in the beautiful city of Girona, just a short drive from the pristine beaches of the Costa Brava for the World Ayahuasca Conference 2019.
Over 120 presentations and panels featuring international speakers
Discussing everything from the latest scientific research, indigenous rights and culture, sustainability, community, policy, spirituality, and more.
Ten community dialogue sessions
Experience engaging community sessions on topics such as the medicalization of psychedelics, ayahuasca and entrepreneurial thinking, indigenizing research, policy and ayahuasca recognition as a traditional medicine, restorative justice and sexual misconduct, and conservation in the Amazonian, and more.
An indigenous autonomous space
Participate in intercultural activities in this space, which will be hosted by 20 indigenous leaders from Brazil, Ecuador, Peru and Colombia.
AYA2019 will be more than a conference. It will be the largest event ever held about ayahuasca, one where our diverse community will come together to plant the seeds for a better future.
The third World Ayahuasca Conference will explore how ayahuasca practices have impacts not only on individuals, but also on communities, societies, and this planet we call home.
The true potential offered by these sacred plants is in the possibility of transforming individual and community healing into service for the world. AYA2019 will unite us around a common vision – to build a sustainable future for plants, people and the planet.
Over the three-day conference and ancillary events, participants will connect with each other, engage in dialogue, listen to inspirational speakers, and enjoy art, food, and music together. We look forward to seeing you in Girona!
